This policy explains what happens if an Austin commercial roofing project or scheduled inspection with ATX Commercial Roofing Pros is cancelled or rescheduled. Project deposits

Once you accept a proposal, a deposit may be required to reserve your place on the schedule and to order materials. The deposit amount and what it covers are stated in your proposal. Here's how it's handled if a project is cancelled:

Before materials orderedIf you cancel before we've ordered materials or scheduled crews, your deposit is refundable less any documented costs already incurred (for example, engineering or permit fees).
After materials orderedCommercial membrane and metal are frequently cut, sized, or special-ordered for your building. Once ordered, those material costs are non-refundable, because they can't be returned or reused. The balance of your deposit, if any, is refundable.
After work beginsIf work has started, you're responsible for materials delivered and labor performed to date, per the proposal. Any remaining deposit is applied to that balance.

Weather & rescheduling

Roofing is weather-dependent, and we will not install in conditions that compromise the system or crew safety. If we postpone your start for weather or material delays, that is not a cancellation — your deposit and pricing hold, and we reschedule the next safe window. You may reschedule your own start date with reasonable notice; very short-notice changes may affect crew availability and timing.

Cancellation by us

In rare cases — for example, if an inspection reveals structural conditions that put a project outside our scope, or we can't obtain a required permit — we may decline or cancel a project. If we do, any deposit you paid for work not performed is refunded.

Deductible integrity On insurance-related work, we never waive, rebate, or absorb your deductible — that's unlawful in Texas. Your deductible is your responsibility, separate from any deposit or cancellation terms here.
